The principles that the production process of metal stamping parts should follow

In the metal stamping parts processing factory, the metal stamping parts customized by users are various, and the shapes, sizes and precision requirements are also different. Therefore, the stamping process used is also different. But no matter which stamping process is used, the following principles should be followed:

1. When the cross-sectional quality and dimensional accuracy of metal stamping parts are required to be high, it can be considered to add finishing after blanking or directly adopt fine blanking process;
2. The processing amount of the bent part mainly depends on the complexity of its structural shape, the number of bending angles, the relative position and the bending direction. When the bending radius of the bent piece is less than the allowable value, add a trimming process after bending;
3. The number of drawing processes is related to material properties, drawing height, number of drawing steps, drawing diameter, and material thickness, and can be determined by calculating the drawing process. When the fillet radius of the drawn part is small or the dimensional accuracy is high, the trimming process should be added after drawing;
4. In order to improve the stability of the stamping process and to ensure the quality of stamping parts, it is sometimes necessary to increase the number of processes;
5. For metal stamping parts with simple shapes, single-process die blanking is used. Due to the limitation of mold structure or strength, the upper and lower contours of workpieces with complex blanking shapes should be divided into several parts, and multiple stamping processes should be used. Continuous mode can be selected if necessary. For metal stamping parts that require high flatness, a leveling process can be added after the punching process.
