The function of the engine shock absorber is to buffer shock, sound insulation and dustproof, improve the driving and riding comfort of the car, and reduce the noise generated when the engine is working.
First of all, the engine shock absorber will vibrate due to the reciprocating motion of the piston, cylinder combustion and its moving parts when the automobile engine is working. If the engine is directly connected to the chassis, the chassis will also vibrate. It will affect the handling and comfort of the car. Therefore, an engine shock absorber should be installed between the car engine and the chassis so that the vibration of the engine can be transmitted to the chassis as little as possible.

The working principle of the engine shock absorberis to use the elastic deformation of the shock absorber to absorb the vibration generated by the engine. After the  engine shock absorber is damaged, the performance of the car is not particularly representative to be honest, and it is often easy to ignore. Because the main symptoms are jitter and vibration, and there are many reasons for a car to cause jitter. The engine jitter is obvious when the car is cold and idling. After the car is warmed up, the jitter becomes lighter or even disappears. At idle or low speed, you can feel the vibration of the steering wheel and brake pedal. When passing over undulating roads such as speed bumps, if the rubber feet of the machine are seriously damaged, you will hear a thumping sound, or a creaking sound of metal shaking. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the shock absorber is worn or not.
